The BoA Green Man Festival – Sat 11th May 2024

Experience the Bradford on Avon Green Man Festival, a vibrant, family-friendly community gathering featuring traditional dance, music, song, and folklore throughout the town centre on Saturday 11 May 2024 from 9.30am to 5.30pm. And the best part is, it’s free!

Watch over 44 dance groups, with over 400 dancers and 100 musicians, featuring Morris dancing and diverse European styles. Try a dance or two.

Join the whimsical journeys of our 10ft tall Jack in the Green and his partner Jill in the Green, visiting 12 town centre venues with their bands and fantasy beasts. Look out for the roving Mummers’ play.

Discover the kid’s zone, artisan markets, community hub, pagan crafts and more!.

Groove to a samba band, the Folk Club stage, Wiltshire Music Centre stage, Blues @ The Shoes stage, live pub music and buskers!

9.30am Waking Jack & Jill at the Tithe Barn.

5pm Closing parade in Riverside Park and Tithe Barn. followed by Stripping Jack.
